WiT For Good is the social impact and outreach programme of WiT (Web in Travel).

Since 2008, WiT For Good has been guided by a simple belief that our industry could lift lives beyond the conference halls, growing into a movement that has raised nearly US$1 million for women and children across Asia.

Its flagship fundraising event is the WiT Charity Auction, held during the Closing Reception of the WiT Singapore conference – brought to life by the industry’s generosity; with local art, including donated artworks from the community, travel experiences sparking lively bidding, and industry leaders offering their time and wisdom in support of the cause.

Over the years, the programme has supported grassroots social enterprises in Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand –each driven by passionate individuals working to create meaningful change in their communities.

And with every contribution, we continue to champion the power of travel, community, and shared purpose to create lasting impact – moving ever closer to our mission of opening doors, expanding opportunities, and uplifting the lives across Asia.

In 2024 and 2025, we raised an estimated US$80,000 for Saab Shares, a not-for-profit organisation working to reduce poverty and support marginalised communities through children’s education, healthcare access, and women’s empowerment programmes. Thanks to our donors’ generosity, Saab Shares achieved transformative milestones across education, infrastructure, and child welfare in 2024 – and will continue advancing this mission with the support raised in 2025.

2025

Due to the stellar work done by the sisters with the funds raised in 2024, we are once again supporting their social enterprise Saab Shares.

In 2024, WiT For Good’s support kept our Rumah Belajar in three locations running for two full years, opened computer classes in remote villages, and provided scholarships to children who need them most. It also allowed us to upgrade facilities, build safe spaces, and deliver school essentials – ensuring every child we serve has the tools, skills, and confidence to shape a brighter future.
